Professional Life Coach
Raised in Miami Beach, FL, during June’s formative years, she witnessed family members living with addiction and alcoholism. Later in life, she faced significant challenges and losses as loved ones struggled with addiction. While working in an administrative role at a mental health and substance abuse facility, she noticed how naturally clients felt at ease in her presence, and how she felt a connection with them. Motivated by compassion, and an understanding that addiction is a way to cope, she developed a desire to support those navigating grief and recovery and pursued professional trainings.
She holds certifications as an Advanced Grief Recovery Method® Specialist, Addiction Counselor, and Professional Coach. She has completed trainings in Shadow Work, Family Constellation, and Compassionate Inquiry® (Dr. Gabor Maté] and is currently training to be certified as a Grief Educator with David Kessler.
Offering an evidence-based, 7-week grief program as well as semi-structured sessions, June adapts to the unique needs of her clients. With an intuitive understanding, she provides guidance through the complexities of loss and change, helping individuals move beyond suffering and find renewed hope.
Grief, often thought of because of the death of a loved one, can be related to divorce/breakup, change of living circumstances, change of job, changes in health (yourself or a loved one), recovering from addiction, a loved one living with addiction, loss of pet, loss of trust/safety, to just name a few. More than 43 types of life experiences are forms of grief that often go unrecognized or are mistaken for something else.
June believes that true healing comes from facing life’s challenges head-on. She holds that each person carries the answers within themselves, and while the journey may be difficult, we are not meant to face it alone. In a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment, she helps clients process grief, build lasting coping strategies, and discover meaning in life’s unexpected or unchosen changes.
In her spare time, she volunteers with equine medical therapy for children with special needs and has facilitated and co-facilitated support groups. Dedicated to lifelong learning, June is continually enhancing her professional skills and personal growth.
Sharing an especially loving relationship with both of her children, since the heartbreaking loss of her son, June and her daughter continue to find strength in each other, deepening their already nurturing bond. She cherishes spending time with her family and loved ones. Having developed a connection to nature along with daily meditation practice, she has come to understand the importance of being in the present moment.
